Bio: Mia Doucet
Mia Doucet is founder,
chief strategist and decoder of Crack The Code (formerly known
by the rather uninspired company name, Sales Development Institute, 1993).
Since publication of
her award-winning book, China in Motion, she works with
Fortune 500 executive teams in retreat settings to increase profits and
improve communication
by aligning eastern and western business strategies.
At the request of Siemens
Motor Division in Germany, Mia spent over two thousand hours
interviewing Korean, Japanese and Chinese business people to
learn how to do business with Asians.
(See
Research)
Her research yielded information you won’t find anywhere
else.
Those
two thousand hours revealed priceless insights into the Asian
mind and
uncovered cross-cultural and communication mistakes that undermine trust and cost
western companies untold millions.
Mia's programs are based on these findings.
Her
talks reveal priceless insights into how Asians think and
explore the fallout of assuming that western business practices
are the only way to go.
Now you get to benefit
from the hard-won business information and advice that
has made millions upon millions of dollars for her clients in
the past few years.
Mia's
unique ability of being able to spark innovative and
strategic thinking across whole divisions has made her a popular
speaker and facilitator across North America.
She is a member of International Federation of Professional
Speakers, and holds accreditations in education, consulting,
sales and human resources. Mia is a
founding
member of Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, South
Western Ontario, and serves on its Board of Directors.

“I am calling from (Europe)
to tell you that, officially, before working with you, we made
every mistake you wrote about in your book (China In Motion).
You are so right. We did not know what we did not know. We
didn’t know to hire you two years ago. I shudder to think of the
missed opportunity of the past two years.”
